Alhassan Suhuyini, one of the eight Members of Parliament sponsoring the anti-LGBTQ+ bill have been denied visa to one of the European countries.
Speaking on TV3 he said he was denied visa but cannot certainly claim that it is due to his role in the anti-gay bill.
Mr Suhuyini said he is going to blame his protocol officer for now and then work on the visa again and see if he’ll be denied a second time.
He said he can only make a case out of it if he is sure that he is being denied the visa because he is one of the lawmakers championing the controversial bill.
