Social media influencer, Archipalago has slammed renowned investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas over the journalist’s soon-to-premiere exposé on COVID-19, describing it as a misplaced priority.
According to Archipalago, the killers of Ahmed Suale, one of the integral members of the Tiger Eye PI team who was killed last year, must first be brought to book first before Anas Aremeyaw Anas can continue with his work.
Ahmed was murdered on 16 January 2019 in his vehicle by two unidentified men on motorbikes. He was shot twice in the chest and once in the neck.
On 16th January 2020, a renowned international journalist, Guillaume Perrier published findings of a private investigation into the murder of Ahmed Hussein Suale, alleging that the Ghana Police Service failed to follow up on a key lead.
Archipalago’s comment is in reaction to Anas’ latest exposé which is set to premiere on monday. The documentary is said to expose persons who have utilized the unfortunate COVID-19 pandemic to make money for themselves.
