Allow The NDC To Demonstrate – NPP’s Nana B To Ghana Police Service

The National Youth Organizers of the incumbent New Patriotic Party (NPP), Henry Nana Boakye popularly known as Nana B has disagreed with the decision by the Ghana Police Service to prevent the NDC from organizing their planned demonstration.

The demonstration dubbed, ‘March for Justice’ is in reaction to the death of #FixTheCountry activist, Kaaka and two others who were shot dead.

According to the Ghana Police Service, it cannot provide protection for the youth group, citing among other things COVID-19 as an excuse.

But speaking on Peace FM’s Kokrokoo Morning show, Nana B disagreed the police saying they could have sit with the organisers and agree on the route to use

“I disagree with the police. If they [NDC youth] want to embark on a demonstration, they should be allowed to go. The police should sit down with the organisers and agree on the routes to use for the protest; it could be just one route. The police should be able to tell the organisers to provide the protesters with nose masks and hand sanitisers, so they can embark on the protest,”.
