President Akufo Addo has stated that he is particularly proud of the equitable distribution of developmental projects across the country within his first term.
He made this pronouncement on August 22, while speaking at an event held at the University of Cape Coast to launch the NPP’s Manifesto for the 2020 elections.
He explained that citizens of the country must be given the utmost respect therefore he has worked to ensure that he fulfills all promises given to the Ghanaian people.
He said “We believe that citizens must be treated with respect. Once given the mandate to govern, we are bound by promises that we make to the good people of Ghana and we set about translating the promises into concrete programmes.”
“I take pride especially in two things that have characterized the implementation of our programmes: we have succeeded at equitable distribution, which means all parts of the country have been touched by our policies. And we have delivered value for money,” he added.
