Followers of Alan Kyeremateng and proponents of the ‘Aduru wo so’ mantra have been left red faced after their leader once again abandoned ship in the midst of the storm.
Mr. Kyeremateng performed abysmally in the recently held Super Delegates Congress where he managed a paltry 10% despite being touted as the favorite.
Assin Central MP, Kennedy Agyapong who many did not give a chance to perform any better in the congress rather pulled a hefty surprise when he finished above the so-called popular Alan Kyeremateng.
Despite being led on by his handlers who kept assuring him of a landslide victory, Mr. Kyeremateng appears to have finally taken a correct political decision by saving his cash in exchange for some political dignity.
It is unclear if other contenders will take a cue and save themselves the embarrassment of a whopping since Dr. Bawumia’s signal appears to have reached nationwide coverage.
One thing is clear though, Dr. Bawumia’s victory in the November congress is only a matter of time.
