Akufo-Addo’s Sudden Interest In Infrastructure Deceptive – Mahama

Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama has described as both deceptive and surprising President Akufo Addo’s sudden interest in infrastructural project.

Addressing the chiefs and elders of Tsito in the Volta region, John Mahama noted that the government failed the infrastructure test the moment they cancelled road contracts and abandoned projects it inherited from the NDC.

He cited instances where the New Patriotic Party (NPP) claimed Ghanaians won’t eat roads when he (Mahama) was actively constructing roads and infrastructure for the people. He quizzed why the sudden interest in infrastructure if Ghanaians won’t eat them.

Mahama further assured that a new NDC government will prioritise continuing abandoned projects before embarking on new ones. He reiterated his ambition to create massive jobs for the youth if given the chance to lead once again.
