Akufo-Addo’s Silence On National Cathedral Shows He Has Been Embarrassed – Ablakwa

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has kept quiet on the ongoing issues surrounding the National Cathedral project because he has been embarrassed by the revelationsNorth Tongu Member of Parliament Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has said.

Asked whether he is surprised that the President has not spoken on the matter, while speaking on the New Day show with Johnnie Hughes on TV3 Tuesday June 21, he said “I am not surprised that he is quiet because he has been embarrassed, it is a shame.”

He further said that it is a shame that the National cathedral project that is done in the name of the Holy Lord has been emerged in all these deception and blatant disregard for the laws.

“We are unravelling a lot of mysteries. It’s been a shame that a project [National cathedral] that is done in the name of the Holy Lord has been emerged in all these deception and blatant disregard of our laws,” he said.

Mr Okudzeto Ablakwa earlier said in a statement that project continues to drown in a sea of naked lies.

His comments came after the National Cathedral Secretariat clarified that the project was a public project, not private.
