A communications team member of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Solomon Kusi-Appiah has said that the achievements of President Akufo-Addo is unprecedented.
Speaking on Movement In The Morning Political Show on Thursday June 9, 2022, Mr. Kusi-Appiah indicated that President Akufo-Addo has set a record of building more factories than any government since the era of Ghana’s first President, Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.
According to him, all the policies, programmes and social interventions implemented by the NPP were geared towards transforming the country’s economy, improving socioeconomic standard and livelihoods of the citizenry and reducing poverty while creating jobs and wealth for the youth.
“Which President has constructed 111 hospitals in the history of Ghana? But President Akufo-Addo has begun such a project. He has also built more factories than any government since the days of Ghana’s first president, Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah. He has rolled out record- breaking policies and that makes him the ‘Ezekiel’ of our time “he stressed.
To him, it would be terrible for the party to lose the 2024 polls because it would be a wasted years since the NDC would take over country and destroy it.
He stated that the Nana Addo-led administration has laid solid foundations for the country and transformed the economy with policies that has helped in transforming the lives of Ghanaians.
He said, “the President must be commended for what he has achieved, something the opposition NDC has failed to do-they know very well that the NPP government has performed tremendously well. If we do not work hard and ensure that the party breaks the 8, Ghana will retrogress. We have to protect what has been achieved so far- as party supporters, we have work to do. We need to help the party in protecting what we have achieved.”
