Musician and political activist, Kwame Asare Obeng, popularly known as A Plus has taken a swipe at President Akufo-Addo following inconsistencies in the President’s directives concerning the COVID-19 safety protocols.
In order to promote public safety amid the coronavirus pandemic, the government came out with a number of directives aimed at reducing the spread of the deadly virus.
Among the directives, Churches are supposed to meet for a maximum of 2 hours under strict social distancing and mask-wearing protocols, bars and night clubs remain closed, schools remain closed, among other directives.
However, A Plus has questioned why all these restrictions remain in place while the President’s own political party rallies and campaigns appear to throw caution to the wind when it comes to observing COVID safety protocols on their campaign trails.
Sharing a photo of one of NPP’s recent campaigns, A Plus questioned the rationale behind closing schools, banning football and restriction the Church’s time of worship.
The musician also slammed the President for speaking big grammar full of lies and dishonesty.
