Akufo-Addo Is Manipulating The Police To Arrest Mahama And Scuttle His 2024 Chances – NDC MP For Tamale Central

NDC MP for Tamale Central, Ibrahim Murtala Mohammed has accused the President of manipulating the majority caucus and the Police Service.

According to him, how the majority have changed from their initial position in the Xavier Sosu issue shows that the President is moving an unseeen hand behind the scenes.

Mr. Murtala Mohammed is of the view that the current action against MP for Madina, Francis Xavier Sosu is just a piece in a grand agenda targeted at former president John Dramani Mahama.

According to him, the Police is being manipulated to arrest the former President based on a plea by the EC chair after the 2020 NDC flagbearer made some remarks about the conduct of the last election.

Mr. Murtala, however, warned that the NDC will fiercely resist any attempt to scuttle the 2024 chances of Mr. Mahama.
