Former Acting General Secretary of the Convention People’s Party (CPP), James Kwabena Bomfeh, also known as Kabila has acclaimed President Akufo-Addo for his kind gesture towards retired Ghanaian boxer, DK Poison.
This comes after the President approved a refund of $45,000 to the boxer after he loaned it to the country in 1976 under the Acheampong administration.
He has since been struggling to get his moeny back as subsequent governments have failed to pay back the money.
Speaking on Peace FM’s Kokrokoo, Kabila laude President Akufo-Addo for finally paying back the boxers money.
He noted that he was sure that the President, in the eyes of DK Poison’s family, will be seen as next to Jesus or Mohammed kind of good person.
