Vice President of Imani Africa, Mr Kofi Bentil has insisted the repackaged Agyapa Deal remains an attempt to loot the country’s resources.
According to him, no patriot will package such a deal for approval.
“Agyapa is still a terrible loot of our resources! No patriot will do this!!” Mr Bentil who is also a private legal practitioner said in a Facebook post on Wednesday October 20.
He added: “Anyone who touts Agyapa should answer this. ‘How much did we make from mineral royalties In the last 4 years? How much are we selling our mineral royalties for?”
His comment comes after finance minister, Ken Ofori-Atta said the deal will be going back to parliament after some changes were made to it.
