After Asiedu Nketiah Claimed There Was No Collation In Techiman South, EC Has Now Submitted Original Collation Sheet With Signatures

The brouhaha surrounding the Parliamentary Election in Techiman South constituency may finally see an end soon.

The constituency, having generated intense controversy in the aftermath of the 2020 Election owing to the unfortunate events that led to even the loss of two lives, may finally see the resolution of the issues.

The NDC claimed to have annexed that seat, even though the EC, the constitutionally mandated body, declared the NPP’s Martin Adjei Mensah Korsah as MP.

In the controversy that followed, General Secretary of the NDC, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah Claimed that contrary to the law, there was no Collation in Techiman South, a claim which was rejected by the NPP.

The NDC scribe dared the EC to produce any Collation Sheet for the constituency if any, even though the EC declined his invitation.

However, when the case was finally heard in Court, the EC was compelled to produce the original Collation Sheet, which actually had signatures.

The NDC now appears to be shifting it’s earlier position, and is now claiming that they have issues with the figures on the document, the same document Mr Asiedu Nketiah brazenly claimed did not exist.

The following weeks in cross examination will finally put the matter to bed, we hope.

What is clear at this moment is that someone was factually incorrect when he claimed there was no Collation in Techiman South.
