According to Jennifer Queen, a deputy communication director for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), the actions of Member of Parliament for Dome-Kwabenya, Sarah Adwoa Safo, gives the National Democratic Congress (NDC) permission to significantly misbehave.
Jennifer Queen indicated in an interview on Wontumi TV that Hon. Adwoa Safo’s activities are having a negative impact on the work that the government is pushing in Parliament.
According to her, the MP for Dome Kwabenya’s activities are akin to those of a “spoiled child,” and she warned that if it is not addressed, it will have a negative impact on the NPP’s prospects, just as it did in 2020.
The ruling New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) leadership will meet shortly to discuss what action to take against Sarah Adwoa Safo, the Member of Parliament for the Dome-Kwabenya seat, over her continued absenteeism from Parliament.
Some NPP MPs and constituency executives have accused Adwoa Safo of holding the government hostage by refusing to appear in Parliament at a time when a hung parliament necessitates the presence of all members to expedite government operations.
