Advise Your Gay Son And Stop The Bitterness – Ernest Owusu Bempah To KKD

The New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) deputy director of communications, Ernest Owusu Bempah, has attacked Ghanaian broadcaster Kwesi Kyei-Darkwah, often known as KKD, for recently saying that the person who came up with the NPP’s catchphrase, “Breaking the Eight,” is an idiot.

Owusu Bempah alleged that KKD spoke from animosity and resentment and questioned his capacity for reason.

Owusu Bempah stated during a Neat FM interview that he thought the remarks were unnecessary and inappropriate.

KKD first and foremost I believe that he, personally, has a problem.I’ve been aware of KKD since I was nursing my infant, back when he was decked up in bulky chains, a hat, a suit, and other accessories. Therefore, he believes that because he had experience with all past administrations, it is inappropriate for him to say that the individual who came up with the phrase “breaking the eight” lacks common sense.

You can see that everything he says is motivated by resentment since even his line of reasoning falls short of the mark. His statements are not supported by reason; rather, he speaks from an emotional place of hatred, according to how he is speaking, he stated.

He stated that KKD’s emotional position and condemnation of the individual responsible for the “Breaking the Eight” slogan were unjustified and cited KKD’s extensive media history in Ghana.

Owusu Bempah continued by bringing up some reported problems in KKD’s family, focusing on his son’s support of LGBTQI+ rights abroad. Before condemning others, he encouraged KKD to solve these issues, saying that his moral standing should start with him.

“Was KKD asleep when a certain president went to Kyebi to say that, Kyebi is the headquarters of galamsey, were we not here when Aisha Huang brought chanfang to mine galamsey, wasn’t he here?

“Today his son is standing in America, Britain advocating for gays…his elder son is standing in Britain, can Kwesi Darkwah say that his father who gave birth to him and took care of him, told him to allow his son to become gay? If he knows how to address issues, he should address his household issues.

“For someone with Presbyterian upbringing, this is one of the most abominable lifestyles the son is bringing out…he should talk about his household’s issues if he wants to talk about others.”

KKD recently criticized the NPP’s popular slogan, “Breaking the Eight” labeling it as nonsensical.

According to him, the person responsible for coining the term lacks common sense, as he believes that if the ruling government had performed well enough to merit an extension of its mandate, there would be no need to resort to such slogans.

Speaking in an interview with TV XYZ on July 26, 2023, KKD criticized the current president, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo, accusing him of failing to fulfill his promise to tackle illegal mining, commonly known as galamsey.
