Over 120 students from Adiembra Senior High School in the Western Region have been sent home by school authorities for disregarding Covid-19 prevention protocols.
The students per reports are said to have left campus with no permission or supervision, which is a complete breach of laid down protocols and restrictions by management to protect students and staff from the coronavirus pandemic.
But by way of self defence, the students explain that they had left the school premises in search of water since they’ve not had access to portable water after their reopening on June 15, 2020.
The all boys contingent asked the media, government and all interested stakeholders to come to their aid and visit the school to have a first hand experience of the situation since measures alleged to be put in place to curb the spread of the virus are all being breached and disregarded by school authorities and teachers.
