Ablakwa’s Job In NDC is to Lie – Lecturer

A senior lecturer at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Dr. Emmanuel Amankwah, has singled out Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, as someone tasked with the responsibility to “lie”.

The respected lecturer stated on Wontumi TV that the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has handed over Hon. Ablakwa, the responsibility to constantly tell lies on the government of President Akufo-Addo when ever he makes a foreign trip.

The MP for North Tongu, has come under scrutiny following some lies he churned out about President Akufo-Addo’s recent travel to Brussels and Rwanda.

Government, through Mr. Eugene Arhin responded to the statements by Hon. Ablakwa, making it clear that an amount of €480,000.00 was never used on the travel.

According to Hon. Ablakwa, President Akufo-Addo’s trips to Belgium, and subsequently to Rwanda were aboard an Airbus ACJ319, registered D-Alex. He further adds that “the 480,000 Euros which is derived from 21 hours of total flight time plus other industry charges works out to some 4.1million Ghana Cedis at current exchange rate”.

But Mr. Arhin chimed in that the claims by the North Tongu MP were not accurate noting that “as a Member of Parliament, I was hoping he would have been factual and truthful in his claims, and resisted the urge to engage in propaganda.”

Dr. Amankwah praised government for being swift in responding to Hon Ablakwa a man he claims has being lying for “fame”.

He punched holes in the response from Ablakwa noting that “He wants to shift goalpost but we will show him that he has bitten more than he can chew. He has no evidence and I believe the NDC had tasked him to lie always.”
