Musician and political activist, Kwame Asare Obeng, popularly known as A Plus has slammed the Police Service for preventing pro-NDC group, ASEPA from embarking on a demonstration against the infamous Agyapa deal.
According to the Greater Accra Police, they are unable to allow the demonstration because the participants are likely to break COVID-19 protocols.
However, A Plus reminded them that just last week, they allowed a demonstration in Asamankese because of a social media comment.
In a Facebook post, A Plus wrote, “Ok let’s go for this demonstration. I want to be part!!! This country does not belong to anyone. We were here when people demonstrated in Asamankese because of a social media comment!!!
You Ghana police were there to protect them. Ghana police, we are going on this demonstration in our numbers. There are people who can demonstrate and others who can’t? Wtf!!! Oh wait. This will start something very big!!! You have to kill so many people. You will start something you can’t contain. TPP shall be part of this demonstration!!!
