I Advised Owusu-Bempah To Avoid NPP, But He Ignored My Warning – A Plus

Ghanaian musician and politician Kwame A Plus has revealed that he once advised Reverend Isaac Owusu-Bempah, leader of Glorious Word Power Ministry International, to avoid aligning himself with the New Patriotic Party (NPP). Speaking during an interview on UTV’s United Showbiz, A Plus stated that he believed the NPP was not a suitable fit for the prominent pastor and had cautioned him about the potential consequences of his association with the party.

Despite his warnings, A Plus noted that Owusu-Bempah chose to continue his support for the NPP, which has since led the musician to claim that the pastor’s current legal challenges, including his arrest and remand, are a form of divine retribution. A Plus expressed that he felt vindicated, asserting that the troubles Owusu-Bempah faces now were the very ones he had warned him about.

During the interview, A Plus recalled how the pastor had dismissed his cautionary advice, even lecturing him on why the NPP was the best government for Ghana. However, following Owusu-Bempah’s legal troubles, A Plus remarked that he was tempted to call the pastor and congratulate him, as it affirmed his earlier predictions that aligning with the party would eventually lead to complications.

Despite these past disagreements, A Plus also expressed his support for Owusu-Bempah’s latest prophecy, which predicts a victory for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, in the upcoming December 7 elections. A Plus stated that he fully believes in this particular prophecy, unlike others, and is confident that it will come to pass.
