Ghanaian actor John Bredu Peasah, popularly known as Drogba, who is currently battling a rare nerve disorder called demyelination, has reminded Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia of his promise to fund his treatment abroad.

Drogba, known for his role in the TV series “Yolo,” has been undergoing treatment for the past two and a half years. Despite his public pleas for financial assistance, he continues to struggle with mounting medical expenses. To aid his treatment, donations are still being accepted. Contributions can be made to his bank account:

  • Name: John Bredu Peasah
  • Bank: Access Bank
  • Account Number: 0535934031
  • Branch: Adjiriganor Branch

For those unfamiliar, demyelinating diseases cause damage to the myelin sheath, the protective covering around nerve fibers in the brain, spinal cord, and optic nerves. Damage to this sheath disrupts nerve impulses, leading to neurological symptoms such as difficulty walking, vision problems, and changes in bowel and bladder function.
