‘Your Balls Are Not Bigger Than Ours’ – NPP Youth Organizer Assures Asiedu Nketia Of ‘Boot For Boot’ In 2024 Election

The political arena in Ghana has once again become a stage for fiery rhetoric and bold declarations, with the National Youth Organiser of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Salam Mustapha, delivering a scathing response to recent remarks attributed to National Democratic Congress (NDC) National Chairman, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah.

Asiedu Nketiah’s purported statement urging the NPP to peacefully hand over power to the NDC has been met with ridicule by Mustapha, who minced no words in dismissing the suggestion as laughable. In a statement dripping with sarcasm and defiance, Mustapha made it abundantly clear that the NPP had no intention of acquiescing to the NDC’s demands.

“We haven’t told you that we want peace. In fact, we don’t just like you,” Mustapha declared, punctuating his statement with a blunt assertion of equality: “Wofa, your balls are not any bigger than mine or us in the NPP.”

With a swagger characteristic of political brinkmanship, Mustapha portrayed the NPP youth as a formidable force ready to defend their party’s interests at any cost. “The youth I lead are prepared for it all,” he proclaimed, leaving little room for doubt about their readiness to engage in political combat. “If I have to drop the last blood in me for Bawumia and the NPP to win this elections, so be it,” he added, underscoring their unwavering commitment to securing victory.

In a warning laced with bravado, Mustapha conveyed the NPP’s unequivocal stance on the matter: “We will not hand over power to the NDC should the Ghanaian people vote for us again upon our record and campaign.” With a defiant flourish, he assured Asiedu Nketiah of their readiness for any confrontation: “Wofa, have the best of my assurances that we’re battle ready for 2024… If you beat the war drums, we shall dance it for you after all peace is just an option.”

In a final display of bravura, Mustapha embellished his title, branding himself as the “giant slayer, tamer of the baby armies, supreme leader of the youth forces, and commander of the Eagles, Lions and Elephants,” reinforcing the image of strength and resolve projected by the NPP youth.

As the countdown to the 2024 general elections begins, the political landscape in Ghana appears poised for heightened tension, with both parties digging in their heels for what promises to be a fiercely contested battle for power.
