Houseboy Accused Of Killing Madam Allegedly Sold Her Car For 100K

New details have surfaced regarding the case of John Allister, the houseboy accused of killing his employer and stealing her Kia Sportage. It has been revealed that he sold the stolen car for GH¢100,000.

According to information obtained by this portal, Allister, who has a history of criminal activities, used a portion of the money from the sale to purchase a Toyota Vitz, with intentions to use it for Uber services.

The police have also recovered the Toyota Vitz that was acquired by the suspect. On September 11, John Allister, aged 22, allegedly fatally stabbed 35-year-old Princess Afia Ahenkan at her residence in Apaaso, near Sokoban-Ampabame in the Ashanti Region.

On that fateful Monday night, it is alleged that John Allister, in collaboration with James Anokye, carried out the murder of Princess Afia Ahenkan, a mother of one.

The victim was engaged in a phone call when Allister John brutally struck her from behind with a large stick, rendering her instantly unconscious and causing her to fall.

Following this, Allister John proceeded to stab the woman multiple times, leading to her tragic death. He then moved her lifeless body to the garage.

James Anokye, who was an accomplice to John, took possession of Princess Ahenkan’s Kia Sportage and drove it to Accra with the intention of selling it.

Further police investigations resulted in the apprehension of both John Allister and his accomplice, James Anokye, in Accra, as they had gone into hiding with the deceased’s Kia Sportage bearing registration No. GS 307-21, which they subsequently sold.

The vehicle was discovered in Adenta, Accra, along with its documentation, and it was subsequently impounded at the Oyibi Police Station for further scrutiny. Efforts are currently underway to locate and question the buyer as part of the ongoing investigation.

Princess Afia Ahenkan’s body has been placed in the morgue at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital to undergo preservation and an autopsy.

Both individuals are expected to appear in court today and are likely to be remanded in custody pending further developments in the investigation.
