Madam Claricer Acolatse, a former Administrative staff at the castle during the tenure of Late President John Evans Atta Mills has described the tagging of former NDC deputy General Secretary, Koku Anyidoho as a traitor as very painful and unnecessary.
Koku Anyidoho, Leader of the Atta Mills Institute has come under heavy criticism from his own party for soliciting for help from the ruling NPP government to construct a befiting monument for the late President Atta Mills.
Mr. Anyidoho revealed last week that President Akufo-Addo has promised to see to the full construction of the late President’s monument, an announcement that did not go down well with his party folks who have labelled him as a traitor.
However, responding to the issue on Asempa Fm, Madam Claricer Acolatse, also a member of the Atta Mills Institute has lambasted her party folks for putting a loyal man like Mr. Anyidoho on the chopping board just because he solicited for funds to give Atta Mills a befitting memorial.
Madam Acolatse explained that it is not fair to tag Koku as a traitor when he was even in the Volta Region just last week to encourage his people to register and vote for the NDC.
