The outspoken lawmaker disclosed that he tested positive for the disease after his 60th birthday party which he celebrated not long ago.

“It was after my 60th birthday party which I resisted so much and it exposed me to people who had already tested positive…I dined with them and even for some people, they did not even have their nose masks on while others had theirs down the chin,” he explained.

Hon. Ken Agyapong narrating his experience said, just within two weeks after contacting the deadly coronavirus disease, he lost weight so much so that he had to avoid public appearances for sometime.

The lawmaker expounded that, he was quarantined for more than two weeks with symptoms such as nasal congestion making it difficult for him to breathe. He said he sweated profusely it was as if he had had his bed being wetted with water, coupled with fever and weight loss.

The opinionated MP said, though he had fully recovered, his personal experience with the novel coronavirus disease was not a nice one.
