Breaking News: Court Dismisses Case Against NDC MP For Jomoro

The High Court hearing the case of dual citizenship against NDC MP for Jomoro, Dorcas Affo Toffey has dismissed the case.

The High Court has dismissed the case, thereby confirming the eligibility of Madam Affo Toffey to contest for that election.

The court presided over by Justice Dr Richmond Osei Hwere, made the declaration after counsel for the petitioner, Bright Agyekum, had cross- examined an Ivorian lawyer, Dadje Ange Rodrigue of Abidjan, Plateau, who testified for the MP on the Ivorian Nationality code.

Both Parties to the suit had filed their addresses on November 7 as earlier directed by the court.

This brings closure to the matter which has dragged for close to two years since the last election.
