Celebrated highlife singer, Charles Kwadwo Fosu aka Daddy Lumba, has launched his own radio station, DLFM.
The singer made the announcement on Facebook with photos of the newly opened studio and information about programming.
Born 29 September 1964, Daddy Lumba, was the first Ghanaian musician to be awarded Artist of the Year at the Ghana Music Awards. He has released over 30 albums in a career spanning 3 decades.
Although it is not clear whether the media company belongs to him, it will not be surprising to many if that was the case, as his contemporary, Kojo Antwi also owns Accra-based radio station, Breeze FM.
