Rev. Isaac Owusu-Bempah of the Glorious Word Power Ministry International, is deeply pained by the police’s decision to detain him months ago following his clash with Agradaa.

Rev Bempah has blamed Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia and IGP George Dampare of deliberately conspiring to detain him in police cells.

According to reports, a rival pastor, who is the personal prophet of the Inspector General of Police, one Rev. Kusi Boateng was holding a birthday party at the time of the arrest and detention of Rev Bempah.

In attendance to the party was Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia and the IGP himself who partied while all refusing to pick the call of the man of God.

Rev Bempah believes Rev Kusi has a hand in his detention, noting that he even called him several times to speak to the IGP on his behalf yet no response.

“When I was sent to the Cantonment Police cells, I called everyone I knew but no responded. One official told me and I narrated everything to him. The official told me Dampare and Vice President were in the house of Reverend Kusi Boateng. It was Kusi Boateng’s birthday so they were in his house. The person told me the only person who could intervene in my case was Reverend Kusi Boateng.

“He is also the only one who can speak to Bawumia and Dampare to help me. The person sent me Kusi Boateng’s number and I called him more than ten times but he never answered. The police came and said it was time for me to be sent to the cells so I should undress” he said.
