As part of measures to lure health workers to stay away from greener pastures, government is working on financial incentives to cushion health professionals in the country.
The Director-General of the Ghana Health Service (GHS) Dr. Patrick Kuma-Aboagye made the revelation on Wontumi Tv’s Health Talk held on Sundays on the topic – Access To Health Care In Ghana.
He told the host, Ama Ampofo Agyei that plans are far ahead by the Ministry of Health which has set up a committee to look at how to get financial incentives for health workers posted to the rural areas.
