The General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress, Johnson Asiedu Nketia has lamented the selective application of the law by security agencies, and the equally selective application of due process by the Electoral Commission against the NDC.
According the man popularly referred to as General Mosquito, it appears to him that there are different laws being applied to his party and another entirely different set of laws being applied to the ruling NPP.
The popular politician who was on a tour of some registration centers, said that his party is in battle against the earthly trinity of The EC, The state securities, and the NPP.
According to him, supposed inelligible persons who are said to be NDC are prevented from registering, even though such persons are to be allowed to register and a challenge form issued on their registration.
He claims that the same is not applied to supposed NPP inelligible persons as no matter the challenge mounted by NDC agents, these persons are still allowed to register.
The experienced politician noted that the NPP is deliberately trying to bully the NDC into losing the election, with the support of the EC and the security agencies but the NDC will still win the elections.
