Lilwin and Funny Face are known to be two of Ghana’s most popular comedians. The two, despite their fame and huge social media following have been in the midst of some completely unnecessary and avoidable controversies in recent times.
With one crying on Youtube to make money from a colleague’s painful death, and another consistently raving and ranting about his marital issues, these two have earned a huge question mark as to whether they qualify to be role models.
Though these two so-called comedians have had their issues in the past, not even the most machiavellian of persons would have predicted that these two supposed public figures will take their buffoonery to the full glare of national TV, on a show as watched as Nana Ama McBrown’s United Showbiz.
However, as unbelievable as it may sound, Lilwin and Funny Face nearly traded blows on Live TV. Yes, you read right. It took some restraining from Bulldog, Counsellor Adumata, and Nana Ama McBrown to prevent what would have been a truly disappointing spectacle.
What is even shocking is how Funny Face, a man who has conveniently utilized social media to court public sympathy whenever necessary, could blatantly disregard the viewing public to display such gross disrespect in the presence of no less a man than Fadda Dickson, whom he himself has always described as a father.
As it stands now, it appears these two buffoons have not even the slightest regard for “brand”, and what is even more disturbing is that they both have not been able to clearly outline what has set them against each other in such a despicable manner.
