Former President John Dramani Mahama has insisted he’ll not waste his time responding to vitriolic attacks on him by Assin Central lawmaker, Kennedy Agyapong.
Ken Agyapong has been an ardent critiv of the NDC leader and has on several occasions slammed him on live television using abusive and uncouth words.
Addressing members of the NDC in the United States as part of the party’s rebuilding efforts ahad of the 2024 polls, Mr Mahama was asked why he seemed not to pay attention to these attacks on him by the controversial NPP lawmaker.
He responded saying “there are two proverbs in English and Twi. I will start with that of the English that says you don’t wrestle with a pig”
And then the second one our elders say if you’re bathing and some person who is not correct comes and take your towel you don’t jump out and follow,” Mr Mahama said.
