Many people have different reasons to go to church; some go to pray, other also go to enjoy praises and worship; but for musician Michy, it’s an opportunity for her to do business.
She revealed in an interview with Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz, that she hardly goes to church to worship.
According to her, anytime she see a congregation she sees it an opportunity for her to sell and expand her business.
“I go to church once in a while. I go there to do business. I sell jollof so where there are people I see consumers of my food. If I come to your church and I offer you lunch, know that the next thing is cooking a buffet for you”
Even though the ‘Low Tempo’ hit maker admits that she hardly goes to church, she claims she is rather more of a spiritual person than religious.
According to her, she indulges in paying of her tithe either to beggars or the church
She also stressed that she prays and gets emotional whenever she hears any gospel song.
“I am a spiritual person and not religious. I sometimes pay my tithe to church and sometimes to people who actually need it. I pray a lot; every gospel song makes me cry. I have the connection with my God and I feel like my prayers are answered so fast for me”.
