Former Brighton and Hove Albion Manager, Chris Hughton is set to be named as the next Black Stars Coach, after an agreement was reached by Government and the Ghana Football Association.

The two parties are both in agreement that the next manager should begin work immediately as the country works to build a solid team ahead of the crucial world cup qualifiers match against Nigeria.

This puts to bed the spurious claims and counter-claims that government and the GFA were in a heated banter as to who should take over from Milovan Rajevac.

Hughton is expected to try to appeal to foreign-born footballers of Ghanaian descent to commit to the Black Stars.
