Political activist, Kwame Asare Obeng popularly known as A Plus has questioned the call on the leadership of the NDC to reconcile and bring former first lady, Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings back to the Party.
Last week, MP for Klottey Korle, Zanetor Rawlings called on the Elders of the NDC to ‘bury the hatchet’ and reconcile their differences with her mother.
Zanetor underscored the fact that the Party needed a united front to recapture political power from the NPP.
Following her passionate appeal, National Chairman of the NDC, Samuel Ofosu Ampofo assured the Klottey Korley MP that the Elders of the Party will make the necessary effort to bring the wife of the late founder back to the Party.
However, A Plus, who was reacting to a story in which former deputy general secretary of the NDC, Samuel Koku Anyidoho promised to lead Nana Konadu back to the NDC, wondered how exactly the former first lady was going to campaign against the NDC.
According to A Plus, Nana Konadu has enjoyed under the Akufo-Addo administration more than all NPP footsoldiers, financiers and sympathizers combined.
A Plus wondered how the NDP founder can in all good conscience campaign against the same Party under whose administration she has enjoyed so much.
