The trainees in the Nation Builders Corps (NABCO) say they’re disappointed in the media because of how they hyped the program, but they’re quiet about how the government treated them.

The program, which began three years ago and ended with no hope for the same graduate, is a government initiative to address graduate unemployment and solve social problems.

It’s fascinating, according to NABCo trainees, when NABCO was founded, all media outlets covered it and were interested in debating it. Fast forward to today, when it has dissolved without paying trainees their arrears or giving the promised permanency.

But according to government respond after their layoff, stipends for September and October 2021 are currently being processed. This will be the final stipends provided to you based on the stated term of three years (i.e. 36 months) of engagement on NABCO.

In accordance with your exit plans, you will now be invited to join the exit preparation Talent Pool in anticipation of future job and training opportunities. Where your MIP has decided to enter into an agreement with you that is separate from NABCO and solely between you and the MIP.
