The Chairman of the Christian Council and the Presiding Bishop of the Methodist Church Ghana, Most. Rev. Dr. Paul Kwabena Boafo has called on the government to bring some explanations to the widespread non-adherence of Covid-19 preventive protocols at last Saturday’s primaries of the NPP.
The cleric in an interview with Joy News backed up some assertions made by some Christian leaders like Bishop Charles Agyinasare of the Perez Chapel, that the government seems to support these recalcitrant behaviours.
Dr. Boafo explained that the government must not preach virtue and practice vice hence his demand for an explanation especially when they have prescribed strict rules for churches in the event of their reopenings.
