The opposition National Democratic Congress’s Deputy General Secretary has described President Akuffo Addo’s government as a catastrophe for Ghana, citing the government’s terrible economic policies.
He said this during an interview on Okay FM’s Adeakye Abia Morning Show with Kwame Nkrumah Tikesi.
The high cost of food and living expenditures, as well as the rise in gasoline prices and exorbitant increases in power and water charges, he claimed, have made it evident that the Akuffo Addo-led NPP government is unable to manage the economy.
He reiterated the need for government to strengthen up the logistical and human capacity of the security forces in light of the recent spike in daylight robberies that have rocked the capital city of Accra.
He was, however, confident that when the NDC and the John Dramani Mahama government return in 2024, Ghanaians will vote en masse for the NDC and the John Dramani Mahama government, which will supplement the Free SHS by completing the Community Day Schools that Mahama’s first government started, thereby eliminating the double track system.
Inexpensive health care, stronger and upgraded infrastructure, quality and affordable education, and better economic management policies, he stated.
