Owusu Bempah Is Not Above Ghana’s Laws; Other NPP Members Will Learn From His Predicament – Wontumi

The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi Boasiako, also known as Chairman Wontumi has stated that the party has not abandoned Rev Owusu Bempah.

According to him Rev Bempah is not above the laws of Ghana and although he is the NPP’s spiritual prophet, the laws of the country must work.

Wontumi believes other NPP members who feel invincible could learn lessons from Mr Bempah’s case knowing that the party won’t come to your rescue when the laws are dealing with you.

“We have not disowned Reverend Owusu Bempah and never will. There is a difference between a political party and Ghana. There is a difference between a political party and the law, and obviously no one is above the law,” he said on Happy FM.
