Yesterday, we reported a story on a man being shot by police during the NPP primaries at the Jaman South Constituency in Drobo, the Bono Region of Ghana.
Information gathered later revealed that an additional man also sustained some gunshot wounds, making the victims two.
The two who were part of a number of young men to have stomped the polling center to interfere with the election process unfortunately sustained gunshot wounds when there was a scuffle between them and the police.
The two, whose names have been withheld at the moment were conveyed to the St. Mary’s hospital at Drobo, where they were quickly rushed to the theater to undergo surgery to remove the bullets.
Meanwhile, nine (9) other people have been arrested in connection to the incidence and are police custody pending investigation.
