From Investigative Journalism To Church Journalism – Man Drags Manasseh Azure For Investigating Churches Instead Of Gov’t

A social media user, one Dr. Frank Amoakohene has dragged investigative journalist, Manasseh Azure Awuni for throwing his investigative focus on Lighthouse Chapel instead of holding government accountable.

Manasseh Azure Awuni and his new firm, The Fourth Estate, a not-for-profit media project by the Media Foundation for West Africa have in the past few weeks run an investigative piece about the Lighthouse Chapel.

In the said investigative piece, six former Pastors of the Church recounted alleged incidences of abuse, trauma and exploitation during their years of service with the Lighthouse Chapel.

The case is currently in court.

However, yesterday when Manasseh Azure posted the latest update concerning the Lighthouse investigation, one of his followers who appeared really unenthused, wondered how Mr Azure had been reduced to Church investigation.
