Tsikata To File Stay Of Execution To Stop Supreme Court From Proceeding With The Election Petition

Lead Counsel for the Petitioner in the 2020 Election Petition, Tsatsu Tsikata has indicated to the Supreme Court that he was in the process of filing a stay of execution to prevent the Court from proceeding with the Petition until all their review applications are heard.

Mr Tsikata served notice to the Court that his team was in the process of filing a review of the Court’s decision not to compel the respondents to adduce any evidence in the matter.

It is likely that Mr Tsikata would also file another review of today’s ruling by the Court dismissing the petitioner’s application to reopen his case.
