Just In: Nana Addo Forms Transition Team

The President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has in accordance with the Presidential (Transition) Act, 2012, (Act 845) designated the transition team to ensure a smooth handing over of power from one government to the other.

This per the law was to be done within 24hours after the declaration of the presidential election by the EC.

The 15 member committee is chaired by the Chief of Staff at the office of the President, Hon. Akosua Frema Osei-Opare and ably supported by 14 other top government officials.
