Communications Officer for the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Savannah Region, Maleek Basintale, has criticized President Akufo-Addo and his government for the series of corruption scandals under their regime.
In a post on Facebook, he noted that the President and his appointees including his cousins, Gabby Asare Otchere Darko and Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta must be included in the 2021 GES Syllabus as “examples of corruption” in Social Studies or Citizenship Education.
Basintale was reacting to Martin Amidu’s corruption risk assessment on the Agyapa deal which indicted Finance Minister, Ken Ofori Atta and his financial institution, Data bank.
