The Ashanti Regional Minister Simon Osei Mensah has urged Ghanaian electorates to immediately return to their homes after casting their votes on December 7.

Addressing a community youth Peace durbar held by the Ashanti Regional Office of the National Cadet Corps of Ghana (NCCG) in Kumasi on Saturday, October 23, he explained that leaving the polling station will prevent any form of conflict from arising.

According to him, lingering around can lead to arguments and misunderstandings between supporters of different parties.

He advised that electorates rather go home and await the results because in the case of violence, government won’t spare no culprit.
