Ignore Propaganda; Mahama Was Present At The Burial Service Of Rawlings’ Mother In The Volta Region

Contrary to earlier reports that the flagbearer of the opposition National Democratic Congress, John Dramani Mahama was absent at the funeral of the late mother of the founder of the NDC, it has emerged that the former President was actually present at the burial service.

It will be recalled that several news outlets including this portal reported that the flagbearer of the opposition National Democratic Congress, John Dramani Mahama was conspicuously missing as dignitaries and sympathizers went in their numbers to mourn with former President Jerry John Rawlings as ‘he sent his mother home’.

However, it has emerged that former President Mahama was in the Volta Region where the final funeral rites of the late Matriarch was held.
