News of the unfortunate death of Mfantseman MP, Ekow Quansah Hayford has sent shivers and chills across the Ghanaian political divide.
The deceased who is said to have been shot by unidentified gunmen in a robbery attack didn’t die on the spot according to an eyewitness account.
In a sad narration on an Accra-based radio station, Mr Amponsah, who was lying very close to the vehicle of the late lawmaker as the incident happened said the latter really struggled before giving up the ghost.
He revealed that late Ekow Quansah Hayford asked that he be given water before he died.
Mr. Amponsah stated that they couldn’t help because the robbers had guns pointed at them and any attempt to help would have ended any of them also meeting their untimely death.
