Flagbearer of the opposition National Democratic Congress, John Dramani Mahama will not be at the headquarters of the Electoral Commission to personally file his nomination to contest the 2020 elections.
The former President, having reviewed his nomination forms, has signed the relevant portions that require his signature, but he has delegated the filing of the forms to Party General Secretary, Johnson Asiedu Nketia.
In a post on his official Facebook page, the NDC flagbearer wrote, “Today I reviewed my nomination forms and signed the relevant portions for filing.
General Secretary Johnson Asiedu Nketia will tomorrow, Wednesday, file the nomination papers at the Electoral Commission on my behalf.
Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang and I want to say a big thank you for supporting our candidature”.
