24-Year Old KNUST Graduate Dies Under Strange Circumstances While On A Trip With Her Boss
The family of Lois Abena Koranteng, a 24-year-old petroleum engineering graduate from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), is demanding justice following her untimely death under mysterious circumstances. Lois was reportedly found unconscious in a pool while on a business trip with her boss and his driver on June 8, 2024.
According to a post on social media platform X by an account named Edhub, Lois, her boss, and the driver had checked into separate rooms at a hotel in Takoradi for the night. In the early hours of June 8, a hotel worker discovered Lois’s body in the hotel swimming pool, wearing only a bra and underwear. She was rushed to the nearest hospital but was pronounced dead upon arrival.
Following an official complaint by the family, the police conducted an autopsy to determine if foul play was involved. The autopsy revealed no cuts or blood stains on her body. However, the hotel’s CCTV cameras were reportedly not functioning at the time, leaving no footage of the incident.
The lack of video evidence and the mysterious circumstances surrounding Lois’s death have prompted her family to seek the truth. Investigations are ongoing as the family, friends, and the community await answers about the tragic event that claimed the life of the young graduate.
