You’re Seen As A Villager If You’re Rich And Support NDC In Ashanti Region – Wontumi
The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi has said any rich man who hails from the region and supports the opposition NDC is seen as a villager.
According to him, NPP it is assumed NPP is in the blood of anyone born in the Ashanti region till death.
He said no proper rich man will want to be seen associating with the NDC.
“You are seen as a villager if you are forceful and support the NDC where I come from. Where I come from, people with money who support NDC are seen as villagers. Where I was born tells me that I am an NPP member. Even in death, I’m NPP,” he said.
