You Took NDC To Opposition, Bring Us Back To Power Before You Retire – Yammin Charges Mahama

Joseph Yammin, a former deputy Ashanti Regional Minister under the Mahama administration has charged the 2020 flagbearer of the NDC,John Dramani Mahama to lead the NDC again in 2024.

According to Mr Yammin, the NDC will force Mr Mahama to lead the Party again in 2024 if they have to.

There has been a simmering pressure of Mr Mahama to declare his intentions to lead the NDC again, even though he has not done so till date.

Considering the fact that he polled an impressive 6 million votes in the 2020 elections, and the massive endorsement he has among the Party grassroots, many believe Mr Mahama is the best to lead the Party again.

However, with rumors suggesting that the former President may retire from active politics soon, Yammin has joined calls to force him to lead the NDC to battle once again.

According to Mr Yammin, the former President led the NDC to opposition after they had been in power for 8 years, and so he should ensure that he hands power back to the Party before his retirement.

In an interview on Kumasi-based Pure FM, Yammin opined that the former President is the only one who is capable of returning the NDC to power.

He stated that it will be betrayal on the part of the former President if he refused to lead the Party in 2024.
